This will be my official thread documenting my E320 CDI, any work done to it, any rants I may have regarding my W211 E320 CDI

I'm in. Please do a couple 0-60 or 0-40 runs and describe how you did them and post times! I want to do more research as to why I some I've driven seem slower than others. I've driven two "fast" ones, one really "slow" one and two in the middle.

has the sbc pump been replaced? it almost out of the 10 year warranty if not.
the only thing you may have a fault with is glow plugs and egr valve.

That is a really good looking car with those wheels in that color. If I ever buy a used MB made in this century it will be one of these.

If you're a power junkie, get it chip tuned.

Why? The traction control limits the power when stock. ![]() Subjectively, it feels like mine accelerates faster if *don't* floor the accelerator pedal. You can also get a nice Bosch cloud out the pipes when you accelerate hard, something neither my 95 E300D or 300D 2.5 turbo will do to nearly the same degree. Reminds me of our old 87 300TD with the alda tweaked. Speaking of exhaust, here's another neat accessory I installed on mine.... Jim
