I converted to Euro lights! Pictures!

I joined the wiper delete, Euro lights club! I also installed clear corner lamps with amber bulbs to replace my broken corner lights. I really like the look!

City Lights:

Lows/Driving Lights:

Looks clean, and seems to be much brighter than the stock lights! I did the proper conversion, re-pinning 6-pin connectors, and wiring the city light to the side marker.

I figured out that the center adjuster on the back changes the up/down aim...but the other two seem to have no effect. Any ideas what they are supposed to do?

Once of them is Headlight left\right adjustment and the other is the fog-light vertical adjustment

That looks beautiful! I'm from Europe (immigrated to the US a few years ago), and the US head lights still look so weird and out of place to me. As do the bumpers, but that's an altogether different story.

Those head lights look really good!Personally I feel those corner lights should be orange on an '80's car, but clear ones do actually look nice!
Congrats!

Just out of curiosity: Why wire the city lights to the side markers? In Europe "we" don't do the orange running lights at all. It's not allowed.

After I met my American girl friend (now wife) and went to the States for the first time in my life, I couldn't help but notice how every car has orange running lights in the US. I loved the look so much that when I got back home to The Netherlands, I modded my little French hatch back I had at the time to use the blinkers as American style running lights as well.

Good memories.

I could not think of a different place to wire them...and the instructions with the adapters showed them wired into the running lights, so that's what I did for the time being.

Now all I need to do is get out at night and get them aimed properly...I'm looking forward to being able to see at night!

Euro lights are hands down the best Mercedes modification, like the franks red-hot lady I put that **** on everything. Most of my fleet is running euro lights, they look 10x better and are 100x brighter.

Nice work, the Depos work just fine for me.

So the Depos come with wiring instructions now? My set for the w123 did not.

The Depos are great overall.

My only issue, and not a biggie, was the quality of the connectors and the screw retainers. Very cheap, I had to gently crimp the connectors to make them stay on and I replaced the screw retainers with some generic ones from my trim tackle box.

I am needing a set of headlights for my '91 350SDL, and saw these on ebay. The listing says that they will not work with headlight wipers. Anyone know why? They appear to fit in the same area and don't stick out. Also, the photo of the W126 in the listing has wipers. I am not sure if I want to order these, because I definitely want wipers.

I bought wiring harnesses from another seller, which came with instructions. I'll scan and post them after I get home from work.

There is nowhere to mount the motors for the wipers, so I bought delete panels. I have no need for wipers, and like it without.

Please post the scan RenaissanceMan. I was working with one of my son's to install these in Mom's "new" 87 300D. Alas, we did not realize we needed a wiring kit. When we connected the first one, the light is very dim. Hoping that by wiring properly, it fixes the problem.

Thank You!

PS - Your new Euros look Fantastic!!!

The mount for the wiper motor is cast into the bottom of the headlight housing. The euro wiper arm is longer, and the euro wiper motor mounts in a different place than the USA motor to clear the longer arm.

If you got euro under-headlight panels, euro wiper arms, and euro wiper motor it would work with the Depos.

I decided to go with OEM, as I just bought a set of wiper motors for my car (the PO cut off the shafts).
