Sanden retrofit installation guide

Member Peter (Mahone Bay) has graciously produced this installation guide to aide in the installation of the Sanden retrofit kit I offer. I will find a way to make it available to any and all that would like to have it. I am not exactly sure how or where the best place is to make it available. It is in PDF format. I will at least attach it on this post until I can figure out how to either put it in my signature or have it hosted somewhere for easy access. Moderators: is it possible to have the files added to the DIY articles? I am still waiting on the W126 version, but have the W123 version now.....Rich

EDIT: I tried many different ways to attach the files, but nothing worked. I will try something else later.

Files available through email

If anyone wants to view and/or print these files, i would be happy to email them to you. They are in Microsoft Word format. Send your requests via PM with your email address. If we get a place to host the files, I will post the link and maybe have it as part of my signature......Rich

Send it to me. My handle @ gmail. com The maximum .PDF file size is 732.4KB. Word docs are maxed out at much less. I can convert it to a PDF easily but I am not sure if it will compress down to the limit. Worth a try, I suppose.

I had the same problem with uploading the PDF here as I did trying to email it. I was able to get the files so I could email them, and nothing else I tried would work. There should not be a problem with the PDF once we find a way to host the files. Until then, emailing the Word file will have to do. I have the 123 & 126. I assume you want the 126. Email on the way.....Rich

Just thought...if you want to email it to me I should be able to convert it into a jpg format. I had to find a lot of loop holes when I was attempting to upload radio schematics and manuals.

These guys came up in the first search. I can't remember if I tried them or not.

You can also put it on dropbox, share it and post a link.

SUCCESS!

Member Peter (Mahone Bay) was able to divide up the PDF document so that it would fit here in two parts. Attached are the PDF files. Enjoy!

The attached PDF's are for the 123. If you would like the specific 126 document, please PM me.

Read the link in my signature. In a nutshell: more efficient, longer lasting, quieter, less expensive in the long run, etc.....Rich

They use less power to operate so you $ave fuel and accelerate / go faster....

If your old system never blew really cold , you're also going to need to flush out the evaporator and condensor , replace the expansion valve , it's not just as simple as swapping out the old Delco R4 compressor .

That plate is HUGE and looks very sturdy .
