Fuses

Yes I seem to go thru pretty many fuses in my 300sd just the other day I had a situation where when I run wvo and have the switch turned on I was getting a slight discharge on my volt meter guage when guage is neutral position on diesel everything charging normal after searching for hours I found a slight crack in the top of the 16 amp. fuse that is its power source have attached picture of fuse. My question is I think I have read that you can get an all copper fuse or something like it in all different amp ratings that would be more durable. Where can they be purchased at as I am sick of hunting for these blown fuses that can be very tricky to spot.
