My wife and newborn keep me on a short lease, but I will attempt to get parole if the gathering is in the Bay Area (or between santa cruz and napa).

IMHO, these kind of meets need to be casual, and non commital.
No pressure to bring food, commit to several hours, or other kinds of pressures. Just show up for an undetermined amount of time, leave whenever you want, etc. Needs to be early in the morning so it doesn't interfere with weekend plans, etc. SO, HERE IT IS! LOCATION: Krispy Kreme Donuts on Rengstorff and 101. (this is halfway between SF and San Jose). TIME: 8:00 AM DATE: JUNE 22, 2002.

Actually, I just found out that the 22nd doesn't work for me.
I get to drive up to the Delta and tow a ski boat back...I knew i was going to do this, but didn't realize it would be then...Any chance of moving it to Sunday?

Ed, I would love to...but I actually have to drive up there on Friday, around noontime after school, and won't be back 'till sometime Saturday evening...
Dangit, I was really lookin' forward to this too... Maybe another meet later in the year? Hopefully I'll have my Benz by then...unless you guys want to take a look-see at the big brother oilburner
