Short run without fan or throttle linkages?

I need to move my 240D, which is in the middle of getting a variety of maintenance done. Trying to literally move it 25 feet, one forward run; one backwards run.

Currently my throttle linkage is off (the horizontal one from the firewall to the IP area), and my fan is off.

If all I need to do is go at idle speed, forward and backwards, car not to be on for more than a minute, is there anything I should be concerned with?

Hopefully this is a stupid question, but better to ask....

You will be fine.

Honestly you can drive around with no fan most days, it's just when you get into traffic in the summer that things get warm.

Put a shoelace around the waterpump if you're paranoid to keep it moving.

If you are really worried, just push it?

Because I need my wife to move it in my absence, and there's a little bump up and down in and out of garages, which I need a bit of torque to do.

Stupid me. Yes, the pulley will fall off if the fan is removed. Re-apply spacer, pulley and bolts.

At that point might as well put fan on.
