I have a 1995 C280. I want to lower the car via the springs, but my shocks are leaking as well. Is it possible, that the springs could be cut, and if so would factory shocks suffice for a while, or what package combo should I go with like Eibach lowering springs and Bilstein Sport shocks/Boge sport shocks. Can the springs be cut on my type of car. Please - any advice would be greatly apperciated. I am really trying to get rid of the mushy handling on this car . I'm already going with a +1 upgrade (16's, 55/50 series tires) so I hope that will help somewhat, but I really want to lower the car and think the shocks are just gone.
