Make me an offer

And I can put kits together with instructions - I was thinking something on the order of $200 - I'll supply the switch (already converted from the two I'll need to buy), the proper relay & the plug it fits into, and connected to it will be the wiring harness that goes up to the CAN box (it's 6 bundled wires wrapped in a durable black sheath - in my installation it's virtually invisible as it matches the other cabling undwer the hood).

First 5 folks with $200 get the kits - good luck!

PS: This kit includes only the highest quality parts - if you can make it for less, than you've skimped somewhere

I am game. You can't beat an ASR Defeat for $200!!!

You got any pics of these parts that you can post?

I am going to try to have someone hookup the switch to illuminate also with the console switches, so if I need any extra parts let me know and I will compensate you accordingly.

Do you take paypal?

Doesn't this fall into the "a magician never reveals his/her secrets" category?

I will find out eventually, since I am going to purchase a kit. I am no electrical magician, so even if he showed me the parts I still wouldn't know what to do with them!

How about a photo of the dash/console with the switch(es) installed? I'd like to see how it looks completed!

Okay, we've got:
Vince
Shanta
Ross
Guido (if you want to buy your own switches, I'll back their cost out but you'll likely only save $5-10 )
One left-going fast!

Delivery will be in 10 days or so-sourcing the right relay's been a challenge

Send me an email offline and I'll send you my address info. We're all family here, so cash up front will be fine

This is where I installed it, since the fader was unused in my Alpine/PPI/MBQuart system:

Michael, thanks for the photo - that looks SLICK! I love it! I thought the fader opening was shaped wrong for a standard switch, did that just bolt up with no trimming of the wood? VERY nice setup!

I thought that slot was narrower too-very deceptive. But it snapped right in.

And FWIW, if no power is sent to this switch or relay, the ASR circuit is undisturbed. This can be reversed if you prefer, but I felt the logical default would be to retain ASR.

When the switch is activated, the ASR light comes on in the lower dash, and the snow chain light illuminates.

$0.02

You may wish to consider a *BLANK* rocker-panel switch that doesn't say "ASR Off," unless you are
on a first-name basis with every single valet in your "theater(s) of operation."
