age of 107 owners

I was 60 goin on 61 when i bought my 1987. I picked it up in Santa Cruz from a woman that thought it was too much trouble to get in and out of, so she kept her Cadillac. it had 82K on it when i picked it up last year. I measured my gas mileage the other day and since i replaced the injectors with the new style brass ones, the plugs, the wires with Hi-energy ones designed for a Hi-preformance Chevy, etc and am now getting an honest 17MPG..Pete Walls

The way I see it, for every year of your car's age, you can deduct a year from your own age. I'm 56 and my '72 350SL (5.6) is 31. Difference (56-31) is 25, so I'm still young.

Think about it - it's the only method I know of whereby you can lower your age just by buying an older car, and as long as you keep your car, you won't get any older!

i was born in 88, my car was made in 87, so does that make me -1 years old?

I am 58 and we have owned our 1983 380 SL since new. Still have a single row T/C at 103,000 miles. Thanks to this forum (it's awesome) it will be changed soon. She's part of the family.

I'm the ripe old age of 21, and bought both my 300D and 280SL in the past three months. I look forward to getting the 280SL running so i can enjoy it, but for now, I love my 300.

Ready to turn 69 and living high. '83 380sl was a gift to my wife who has dreamed for years of having one. Me, I'm into old motorcycles but love the Benz to drive.

I'm 52. After owning Peugeots in my teens and twenties, then VWs and Mazdas and Toyota's in my 30's and 40's, I now have my first MB, and am enjoying myself immensely. Assuming my transmission lasts another 50,000 miles, I will continue to grin everytime i strap in.
