I've often wondered if you could buy a car like this, with just body damage but no engine/suspension damage and drive it around. It would look pretty funny.

You could get a 360 Ferrari that's been rolled/wrecked so all the panels are odd shapes and the doors don't close properly and it's got no windows, but the engine's OK and the wheels point in the right direction and hey, you're the owner of a unique Ferrari 360 for $30,000.

What body damage? No body, no damage.

Hi Rick!

Hows the summer going??

It would be cool to remove the engine and driveline and plop it into a 240D chasis...

He was probably exiting Caldecott at 150mph and rolled it all the way down the hill

To add to Pentoman's story there was a 550 Maranello awhile back on ebay was missing the front bumper and appeared fine on the left hand side but the car was can opened on the right side....it too was an "easy fixer"

He DOES say the pics are of the parts truck, not the "fixer." Still, I would be hesitant about the engine... if it ran for much time while upside down that could be BAD.

Looks like he planned to do the swap then reconsidered when he figured out the amount of work involved...
