I think its kinda silly letting this car go for just a vibration at 55.

Maybe it is a bad tire.

Could be a flex disc, drive shaft, or center support bearing.

Could be motor mounts, or rear differential mounts.

This is a 6 year old car with 179,000 miles. It is going to need something.

Not a bad tire since they replaced the tires and brakes already. However, if they are going to be silly, let them be. I just hope one of our board members can take advantage of the situation.

The sales person said they were going it was going to auction, so buy it from a dealer who is being honest and will provide the compression tests or maybe even fix it.

Good move.

Hey, have you contacted Herb Phillips? He is somehow able to find the cleanest diesel's anywhere. He could probably find you one.

He has posted a number of cars for sale here on the shop forum.

I think he posts under the name Herb Phillips.

His username on ebay is Herbert.

Here is a link to his feedback:

http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback&userid=herbert&item=-1&frm=1883

Click on some of his past auctions. All of his auctions have the same format as far as pictures and description.

His cars are generally impeccable.
