Stealing newspapers? Hamas/Palistinians are firing rockets at towns, blowing people up, killing and kidnapping. This isn't fk'ing stealing newspapers.
Or put it another way. You, my neighbor, for whatever reason, kidnaps my child. Do you really think I'm not going to burn down your house to get my kid back? Last edited by koop; 06-29-2006 at 09:33 AM. |

Ok Gotta..
Ya the Palestinian's are the "good neighbhors" The ones who constantly and consistently use terrorism, the intentional murder of children, and the ilk to further their goals.
They are sore losers. Iraq, Syria, Jordan, Egypt, and the Palestinians simultaniously were at war with Israel during the Six Day War of 1967. The Arabs possessed far more weapons, materiel, and troops. Yet they were beaten back, and had "their" territory taken from them: The Golan Heights and the Gaza Strip. I don't see Egypt sending nutty guys over to Israel to blow stuff up. The need to GET OVER IT. They have lost every conflict they have engaged Israel in..there is a pattern forming. So since they are such cowards they must resort to killing innocent people insteading of fighting a real war, Israel must fight fire with fire, because this seems to be the only way they understand. As Sherman said "Fear is the beginning of wisdom" During the Six Day War of 1967, the Israelis, although vastly outnumbered, fought bravely and fairly to defend their territory, without resorting to the tactics used by these scumbags in Palestine. And if you want to talk about how peaceful to Palestinians are, and Muslims in general, I'll give you a nice list of current conflicts involving Muslims, and its ironic that most of the atrocities perpetrated are by the Muslim side...WOW! IE: Iraq-We see it every day... East Timoor-Slaughter of Christian Civilians Phillipines-Terrorist attacks against civilians Chechnya-Beheading of POW's, and execution of captured POW's Sudan-Arab Janjaweed gunment murder and rape Darfurians.. ..... Do I need to continue?

GAZA (Reuters) - A spokesman for gunmen in the Gaza Strip said they had fired a rocket tipped with a chemical warhead at Israel early on Thursday.
The Israeli army had no immediate comment on the claim by the spokesman from the al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, an armed wing of Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas's Fatah movement. The group had recently claimed to possess about 20 biological warheads for the makeshift rockets commonly fired from Gaza at Israeli towns. This was the first time the group had claimed firing such a rocket. "The al-Aqsa Brigades have fired one rocket with a chemical warhead" at southern Israel, Abu Qusai, a spokesman for the group, said in Gaza. An Israeli military spokeswoman said the army had not detected that any such rocket was fired, nor was there any report of such a weapon hitting Israel. |

I read earlier today that the senior Hamas leadership live in Syria and that the Israelis "buzzed" the palace of the Syrian President in an effort to "persuade" Hamas into giving up their soldier.
Whether the buzzing was intended as a warning for the Syrians who might be complicit in harboring Hamas members or something else is another matter. I have met a few Israelis over the past couple of years while learning Krav Maga, and they all have brass balls... I guess that comes from being surrounded on all sides by countries that want to eliminate you. You could say the same thing about the Palestinians(only met one and he's as nice as they come) but the jews are vastly outnumbered in that region. They also have a highly superior military, thanks to the ties with the US, which helps quite a bit. Anyone see the pictures of the palestinian teens building sand piles in order to deter the israeli tanks? And we worry about Mexican's...sheesh ![]()

Trying to negotate anything with the Palestinians seems like nailing jello to a tree.
![]() I'd rather support Isreal anyway, because not only are they a pretty good people(at least the ones I have meet) they like us. Unlike Hamas, who if not blowing themselves up over their would likely take up arms against us.

I mentioned this one time before but do not recall getting a response so I’ll try again.
In the 1967 war, Egypt lost the Sini to Israel. Fast forward to the 70’s and the camp David accords, Egypt agreed to peace with Israel and in return, Egypt got their land back. The way I see it, this shows that at least at the time, Israel will go to quite some length to sue for peace. My guess is that the Israelis are as sick and tired of this crap as the Palestinians are. The Palestinians want a country to call their own. Yet they have never made the effort that Egypt has made. Why? If the Palestinians would stand down and say, ok, if we agree to stop this and lets say in two years no one dies, no one gets blown up … can we have our land? I am guessing the response would be yes, you can. Egypt did it, why not the Palestinians? Could it be that the ones doing the fighting do not really want peace? Could it be that they want Israel gone and this has nothing to do with a Palestinian home land? The blue print has been there for close to 30 years but no one has tried to use it. Those in charge on the PLO side in my opinion do not want peace. War is their job and their hobby.

Hmm
Agreed Mash..a little talking goes a long way.
Continued violence by the Palestinians just makes it easier for Israel to have reason to not give them a homeland.

And isn't this the very same Gaza that was just recently given back to the Palestinians? In appreciation they choose to destroy everything they found there, shoot chemical tipped rockets at the neighbors and now kidnapping. It's abundantly evident that they want nothing less than the eradication of Israel and Jews in general. They even say this is the case; in addition to their obvious actions. To believe otherwise seems to me to be predominantly foolish. And please don't come back with that tired old "it's thier homeland" hogwash. If that were true they'd be kidnapping and suicide bombing the Jordanians as well. BTW, werd x3 Koop.
