The gent in the portrait is His Most Catholic Majesty Alfonso XIII who sadly lost his throne during the revolutionary upheavals in Spain during the early '30's only to have it restored to his descendant Juan Carlos by Generalissimo Franco.

Alfonso,despite having hemophilia fathered 6 legitimate issue and 3 or 4 "left handed"children by different women,all of which were recognized and recorded in the Almanach De Gotha.
