Hey Gilly! Said Zeus, who stumbled into this forum back in 2000 and chose the username Zeus as it was one of the first forums he had joined and was new to the username thing and is now stuck with said presumptive username, but anyway, the forum back then was a gentle and kind place - and like many gentle and kind places, it soon became corrupt and lost its innocence, though it is nice to see some of the old friends lingering on despite the forum's current proclivity towards political rhetoric...

After his coup, Hattie found the newly usurped wilderness of the OD a veritable maelstrom of vitrulent posturizing and theory-driven madness, and sought a partner in taming the prolific insurgence - and here I sit, watching my PM box with a twitching eye...

1. And it came to pass that Cap'n Carageous would venture where angels fear'd tread. (that unspeakable forum)
2. And realizing that error would ask for excommunication, but was threatened and banned from it instead by one Col. Klunk, who was outraged that anyone dare not want membership there.
3. And the good Cap'n looked at His creation and said "This is Good"!

though a battle rages unseen between the major forums(a member of many forums whose name shalt not be spoken, but he wears many a ha), the public go unwary of whats happening... with lower prices and forums on home improvment many have sought for the promised land where he laid out the 10 commandments

1)thou shal own a classic mercedes
2)thou shalt not criticize other members
3)thou shalt not covet they neighbors 10 mm socket
4)thou shal recive parts promtly
5)bring unto the masses the super turbo gods
6)talk ye mortals with respect
7)bring unto your god recipes for the best buffalo brisket
8)never speak ill of your home
9)always rember yon son, left loosey , righty tighty
10) rember, its a stupid problem

Several. Kinda like a tumor, kept coming back. Even when he said he wouldn't.

And then there is the occasional thread that is already tedious just by looking at it's title. And yet, I find myself reading and maybe even responding during the first page or two (or three). After that, there is more or less dead horse beating going on.
Or beatings of some other sort LOLOLOLOLOL
