The cartoon was more of a satire of Woodward I thought. The guy kisses up to Bush and sings his praise in two books and is now coming to his senses just in time to try to save his reputation.

Bush is a bizarre character, I'm sorry. That so much of the country is eager to hang on his every word is unsettling. The guy is like a bad caricature of a dictator. I'm not going to apologize for bashing him. He's sitting in the driver's seat of the most powerful vehicle on earth and his best skill is repeating lines and staying on message.

God what I wouldn't give to bring Washington, Franklin, and Jefferson back to put the guy in is place.

Did you see the way Putin ran circles around him at that press conference in Russia a few months back? The one where Bush said he'd like to see democratic reforms in Russia sorta like what was happening in Iraq??

Putin ate him for lunch and had the room in his hand -- international press, not just Russians. And add Bolton to the mix, we've become the laughingstock of the world -- when they're not actively hating us.
