COOL! Congrats all around! Life is good, eh?

Moved from rainey Seattle, to a much drier northern Utah. We're in a small Mayberry RFD-type town about 20 miles north of Ogden. We LOVE it here. Very low crime(if it exists at all), a very affordable cost of living, and actual 4 seasons! I'm making more money, paying half the mortgage, and away from the druggies we had as neighbors up there. We bought a big old 2600 sq/ft brick house, built in 1920, on a third of an acre, with detached garage, and a 20' x 40' shop out back for $122k!

Yeah, life IS good!

Congrats on the Lexus.

Happy Motoring, Mark
Those things had horrible brakes. Not so much in stopping power, but I couldn't keep front brake rotors on it for more than about 20k miles. I took it back to the dealer with about 15k miles, complaining of serious pulsing in the brake pedal. They put it on the rack and checked it out, and claimed the warp was within specs and wouldn't do anything about it. I told them to take it out on the freeway, get up to about 70mph, and hit the brakes, and see how the steering wheel about rips loose from your hands! Nope, wouldn't do anything with it. Oh, and then I was informed the brakes were only covered by warrenty up to something like 7k or 8k miles anyway, never mind the car already had 5k miles on it when we bought it as "new". I ended up just putting new rotors and pads on it every 25k miles or so. I heard that about '98 or '99 Chrysler went to thicker front brake rotors. Go figure. But sounds like it went from one issue, to another from what you're talking about.
And the list of prob's we had with that POS goes on and on. We finally dumped it 3 years ago, traded for a very dependable '92 Subaru Loyale that had 135k miles on it. Still driving that thing, now has 160k miles, and it just keeps going!

A house like that is $500k in my city, well it can be much more depending on the area. Westport is worse though, you would just add a zero onto what you paid and be about their.

Ahh CT.
