Fluke, Sanwa or Mitutoyo and if you have money, B&K, otherwise Radio Shack is good enough and also Sears.

Depending on just how serious you are (Need for multi functions.). How frequently you’ll use it (Let‘s say “a lot“.). How accurate you need it to be (Very). How long you need it to last (Damn near forever.). And how much you’re willing to spend (They aren‘t cheap).....

I highly recommend looking into Fluke.

I'm a Fluke dealer so I reccomend fluke. Sperry makes a good tool and they are cheap too.

Fluke all the way! Look on ebay, they are way cheaper there. I bought a 87 III for $110.00 and a 123 Scopemeter for $220.00 Both look and work perfectly. Ditto. I got a Fluke 79 for $50. 6 years ago, I haven't even had to replace a battery yet.

I guess the question to ask is:

What are you going to use it for?

If the answer is non-medical or sensitive electronics get one of the $12.95 Craftsman or Radio Shack units.

Or

Send me a prepaid box and i will drop one of the 10+ used once meters that I have in my garage. or I will trade you for a test light since I can't seem to hold on to those.

Exactly right. If your only going to test glow plugs and wall outlets you don't need a Fluke.
