150mph on the Merritt? NFW, a Porsche Carrera GT tried that awhile ago and got smashed up. The GT can spank any AMG MB, except maybe a CLK GTR.
If you had something really hot, and the road was closed, like a Carrera GT or an F40, or an F1 car, you might be able to average 100 through the coners, but you will be on the edge even for those cars.
My buddy saw an Indy car on the Merritt a few years ago. Got on in Greenwich, screamed past him and got right off, no plates or anything.

I've seen an indy car a few times around that area at car shows, and cruise nights. I guess a trailer is more trouble than it's worth for the guy to load the car on and off. I used to drive the mile and a half distance down Whitney ave. (route 10) to a local cruise night every week in my Nova, which was entirely a drag car. That's just a little street, and no highway involved. Nver even got more than 35 miles per hour with lights and traffic either. Not really advisable to drive an indy car on a highway though. It's way to obvious, but we never can tell who the guy is, or knows. He could have been the chief of state police or something, in which case, he's coated in teflon..
