I hear ya (sort of ) Mistress. Mom (and wifey) are nurses, so told me to follow the Doc orders. Duh..

They made incisions on both side of the knee and another behind to take care of a ganglionic cyst. Small, but annoying.

My main issue that as a new biz owner, I'm paranoid about leaving the shop "alone". Fortunately, the employees are all competent, motivated and don't need direction. My clients all know the situation, but I still worry a lot.

Maybe I can run the show from home, keep customers happy and explain that I'm still out. (Thinking out loud). Perhaps Doc orders are on the extreme side of caution, maybe not. Ack!
Since your just laying around, how about some photos? You and the dogs taking it easy watching cable, doing yoga.

I just got back from looking at an old SL. What a POS.

Anyhow, here's the excitement.

Wrap comes off Friday, then I can assess the damage.

Nice gams! Is that a Danish dining room table with chairs in the back?

Get yourself a Jazzy or a Scooter, that way you can tool around and raise hell while staying off that knee. And when you get bored you can go race old folks around the supermarket.

Naughty you.

It's a table mother bought at an antique store 25 yrs ago. It was used at our cabin up in NW Wisconsin, then she gave it to us when we got our first house. I think it's dated 1898. She did the seat cushions are vinyl because we always had wet bathing suits at the lake-place.

Someday we'll recover in leather. Has a few leaves too, makes for a decent dining room table. This house is from the 20's, so most of our stuff is old.

Awaiting comment from Carleton.... He'd have NONE of it.

That was the ongoing joke with the cute nurses yesterday after they woke me up. I was pretty buzzed, so I was probably annoying them.

How's the knee doing today, Swede? What have you been up to? A ten K this morning and five sets of tennis this afternoon?

Thanks for asking D!

Now I feel pain, even with meds. Really stiff and swollen. Had to work a few hrs this AM, no getting around it. I'll take the wrap off tonight and see what's going on.

Kuan stopped by an hour ago and gave me some tasty steaks and new mtn bike tires with tubes. He IS the bomb, thanks Kuan!

Tasty steaks? No tasty Bass? I guess steaks are good, too. That's a ***** when the medication wears off. Hope you're feeling better soon.

I don't drink much, but if I did, it's not good to mix booze with oxy.

I have plenty of oxy, just doesn't do much except make me scatter brained (more than usual).

No, I wasn't referring to ale. I was referring to the line in Napoleon Dynamite about giving someone a tasty Bass (fish).

I'm probably one of the few in this world who didn't find that movie funny. I "get" the humor, where they're coming from etc, but it didn't do it for me. Usually stuff like that does, but it just barely missed the mark. Hard to explain...
