DEM SUM REEL SMART FELLERS DARE!"

As for the Right blaming all the problems of the nation on the Left...I watched the "Left" blame all their ills on the "Right" during the 60's, 70's and 80's...Same chit, different day/decade.

Spoiled brats that never lifted a finger to support themselves, getting handouts and bailouts from either their parents or the Gubment...then *****ing about how hard it is to get a free dollar because the "Right" wants them to prove they either need it or go out and get a real job.

Try Jesse Jackson...where the hell does that fraud really work? Is he still "milking" MLK's assassination as his claim to fame? He's got his Rainbow Extorsion...er...Coalition to prop him up. If he's got callouses on his hands, it's probably from patting himself on the back and shaking all the hands of real people that work more than he could possibly dream.

We have too many experts and no doers of the work...Too many Chiefs and not enough Indians.

And our legal system is being raped, logically, by the minutia of the reason of words...common logic and sense have disappeared, only to be replaced by self-righteous, self-centered greed-induced logic and humanism.

And, as long as Darwinism continues to trump the Spiritial Reasoning and Morals that brought this Nation into being...we'll continue the downward spiral towards the end of this great country...

And you can blame it on greed - self-centeredness - "Me-First-And-To-Hell-With-Everyone-Else"isms - "It's not my job."

And all the finger-pointing won't make the problem go away or disappear...it will still be there...needing the action of someone who cares to get up off their lazy @55 and start the ball rolling...

And all I continue to see and hear on the TV, Radio and paper is..."It's someone else's fault...give me more tax dollars and we'll buy our way to salvation."

Doesn't work for the Devil and I'm sure it won't work for us either.

But, hey! Let's go ahead and install a Dem in the WH and let them spend (Remember, it is your money...) our future and lifestyle for all the votes they can garner.

You might have to change this Website forum to "YugoShop.com" in about four years...and by the 6th year..."HuffyShop.com" and at the end of 8..."ThumbShop.com."

A legend in hid own mind. All the cliches -- lefties living on the dole. Oh yeah. I guess I got all these callouses signing welfare checks.

So Jesse Jackson has done no real work? What about your standard bearer, the dubble meister? His hardest work was being cheerleader in chief for a pro baseball team which he wouldn't have been qualified to clear restrooms for unless his daddy had been president.

Always remember megaburger dude: all the problems in this world are the fault of people you don't like.

I did do a little searching on the subject, here's what I found:

Have you seen the "winter soldier" film? How about "Going Upriver?"

You've been fed the mythology and nothing else, best I can tell.

Quite true.

During this coming political season (which, BTW, started WAY TOO EARLY ) we'll see who's lap all the problems in the world will land.

OH! WAIT! We already know...we're being beat about the head with it day in and day out...ol' W!

Gosh! I wonder how I knew?

And the next President will be the one that manages to convince US ALL that He/She/It isn't the worst choice of them all...

Yipee! I'll be waiting by my mailbox for the invite to the Inaugual Ball!

Some good things came out of the war. I remember this Nam movie about a guy who was not too smart with magic legs and started a shrimping business with his deceased Army buddy.

Sounds crazy. Do you have a link? (BTW, Rep. Waxman is in the House, not the Senate.)

Nice try there bro. The films I'm talking about were non-fiction, with video of actual events of the day. Numerous vets telling their experiences with their own mouths.

It's as close as we're going to get to any truth or proof. What, those guys were supposed to have forensic evidence they had carefully brought out from the field in Nam? DNA perhaps? There are some photos to be had and it's way better than nothing.

Hate to tell you, the film "Going Upriver, etc." is about the most concise bundle of useful footage I've found on the VVAW, Winter Soldier hearings, etc. I'm am dumbounded, but not especially surprised that so many people who wish to assert that they know all about that crowd are completely unwilling to watch film of them describing it in their own words.

Video surveillance is useful in law enforcement for very good reason. A picture tells a thousand words. These guys don't have film of what they're speaking of, in most cases, but actually hearing them say it is valuable.

Until you do, it's just bluster and spin.

Dude! You missed your perfect birth country! You would'a been so at home in Iraq -- you could sit around with your buds and carry on at length about how the Sunni/Shia/Kurds (depending on your identity, of course) are animals, vermin, lowlifes, theives, you name it.

One thing would be clear, you and present company would be blameless.

BTW, speaking of welfare abuse, you got anything to say about mega-millions in corporate welfare for the big campaign donors? "W" has made those guys very happy.

Smirk all you want dude. I'll consider that you have actual intellectual curiosity and balls after you watch the "Winter Soldier" hearings film and "Going Upriver, etc." They both impart information that I could not come close to describing with 1 million words.

You can probably get both at you local library resource. Go on bro, show us you manliness.

Agreed.

Cafe sua da and five spice chicken at many new Vietnamese restaurants in the big cities now. Their food is REALLY good when well chosen. It is the French influence in there and the complex spices. YUMMMMM.

More nail salons too.

Whoa, I haven't had this much fun since junior high.

Hate to tell you, this sort of tactic I'm seeing from you is sometimes referred to as 'tacit admission of weakness.'

Books have info, documentaries have info, even fictional films can help one to get into a different frame of mind for a while - to consider a new perspective.

At any rate, if you've not seen the documentary "Hearts and Minds," there is some info in the historical record on Westmoreland, right out of his own mouth, on film, that you're not aware of.

Sure people can slant the truth in documentaries. They can do it with books, newspapers, TV, and radio as well, if fact, I'll go out on a limb and say it is done with those mediums.

Do what you want, stay ignorant for all I care, but dude, stop embarrassing yourself, for Christ's sake. You want to celibrate or ignore the commission of war crimes by US forces? I'm all like, go for it duuuuuudddde.

Actually, this was kinda funny; I hate to come across as humorless but in this case, I don't buy the diversion.

There was another war flick that I heard about from a guy who knew a guy who had been there, and he claimed that he knew some of the guys who were depicted in the movie. I mean c'mon man, that's Hollywood. You think the scriptwriters actually talk to people who were in these things? What was that movie again . . . . . . oh yeah, "Blackhawk Down."

Since you've spoken of your admiration of those who have served, I can imagine you'd get a kick out of "Going Upriver: theLWofJK" as it allows some actual vets to tell their story from their own mouths, a story that was badly twisted in '04 for political gain.
