That's the true meaning of the flim-flam man certainly.

Who knows. God is a mystery. Look at the way evolution tends to reward changes in an organism that lead to a more intelligent/efficient way to survive?

Imagine the big bang as we know it was merely one in an infinite series of big bangs. Hard to imagine anything else, I'm thinking. Anyway, what sort of life form or entity might evolve in that sort of massive, endless time?

I think it's way naive to think we can dismiss any possibility that some sort of metaphysical being or beings exist.
