I have taken no position. He said she is a *****es. I simply questioned his blanket statement.

I never offer links. I don't know how to do that. Links prove nothing anyway. Often they prove the opposite point that the poster is trying to make.

You're kidding, right? Here's a partial list of reasons: mortgage payments, car payments, medical insurance coverage, 401K, clothing, food, orthodontic braces for Junior....

If you are of the notion to pick up stakes and leave employment everytime you find yourself working with/for someone who isn't adorable all of the time, prepare for a rather modest lifestyle.

He did not say that aging would disqualify a woman. He made no comment other than to ask the question.

Her campaign has been a display of poor management with MANY well-over paid people and ridiculous expenses. They went thru money like it had no value. Oh, she is a politician; money does have no value to them.

I suppose you are right. I love my boss. Well, I do. My boss is me. Have I worked for bosses that were jerks? Absolutely. Par for the course. I put up with it till I can find something that pays better

Whether the candidates are being asked directly or not is not my point. The sexism comes from the fact that there seem to be different expectations of a female running for POTUS or any other position for that matter, than of a male.

How many times do you hear someone critiquing what a male is wearing? What purpose is there for asking if we wan to see a woman 'age' in the WH? Has that question been asked of W, or Clinton? How about any other POTUS candidate? What does that have to do with her ability to lead?

While he did not ask it with the intent of disqualifying her, he did ask it with the intent of swaying peoples opinions. IMO, it is sexist to bring up her age with out bringing up Obama's, McCains, Huckabee, W, Cheney, Reagan and any other ale who has run for office. he fact that it was not an issue with the males indicates to e that the statement is sexist.

I have been with AA for 18 years now. I might be wrong but campaign work does not sound like a long term gig. I also guessing that there are very very few people working on a campaign who do not agree and like the person that they are working for.

Campaign work seems to be more a job of passion than money.

How does simply asking the question sway people's opinion?
The answer might well be, " Yes, we are ready to have a woman President, and her appearance does not matter"
The question is for to answer. My bet would be that her appearance does not matter to you; nor to me.
My opposition is on policy matters; nothing periphreal.

Those who work in a campaign for a successful candidate sometimes find that getting a good full-time government job isn't as difficult as they once thought.

Ever hear of push polls? They ask a question that has a negative answer. Same concept. Rush does not like Clinton. That is no secret. We live in a very vain society so asking if we want to see Clinton grow old in the WH caries a negative connotation. Not wanting to see Clinton grow old in the WH reinforces a negative opinion of her.

When Rush asks if we want to see Obama or W or any other male candidate grow old, I will believe it is not a sexist comment. As long as it is only asked of females, IMO it is sexist.

For a select few sure, that option is there. Again, I seriously doubt many people working in a campaign do not believe in the candidate and their beliefs.

A very broad statement was made and IMO it cannot be supported with logic much less fact. My guess is that most people who work for Clinton like her and believe in her just as W employees like and believe in him. That makes far more sense to me.
