Yesterday at Costco I'm buying this Costco cash card because I need it to pay for a slice of pizza. So the cashier says

"How much do you want on the card?"

Me: Fifty thousand dollars

Cashier: Fifteen?

Me: Nope, Fifty thousand

Cashier: OK (she starts punching it in)

Me: Hey! I'm just kidding!

Kudos to her, she called my bluff! Can't bull***** a bull*****ter!

Well at their food counter you can't use a credit card, only cash or a Costco gift card. I didn't have cash on me.

I thought Costco accepts all AMEX, not just their branded card. My non-Costco card works at the gas pumps for sure.

I'm sure they accept all AMEX cards, they just promote theirs.
