After 18 years in this house, I finally replaced my puny, chipped 1969 coppertone porcelain-on-steel double kitchen-sink with a double-size Kohler stainless single sink - $42 from the Habitat Recycler store. Then the first trip to Home Depot for a new $69 high-rise American-Standard Cadet faucet with sprayer, $6 in assorted plastic drain plumbing to convert from two drains to one, and a $5 sack of 'One Size Fits All' sink-clips, which of course didn't fit a Kohler.
It took three trips to Village Hardware to buy, return, and finally get the correct style and number of sink-clips to attach the Kohler to my existing 1969-vintage kitchen-counter - 18 clips x $1.25 each! Then the last trip to Home Depot for a $5 refund on their usless sack of sink clips. But now I'm truly thrilled with my huge 'new' Kohler sink!
Happy Motoring, Mark
