I have had more than once dreamed of having an impressive flow...but have not had one in decades!

I'm hoping to find a less traumatic method.

Exclamation Prostate Issues

Indeed I understand this, decades ago Kaiser sent a Proctologist out to the shop to talk to the grey beards, I decided to go have a listen and he explained much of the details involved and said that the primary thing is to ejaculate occasionally as the semen if allowed to just sit in there, begins to harden and sour, as it does so your urethra gets compressed as the prostate gland gets slowly bigger, that's why such poor flow (many just trickle when they P.) and why/how cancer gets started in that area.....

His suggestion was interesting and to the point : if you're not 'getting any' it's wise to jog it occasionally just to keep things flowing as it were .

So far I'm good , I know quite a few who've had the 'roto rooter' thing done and all like the end result .

This is a really important discussion, far too many Men are not comfortable thinking about this and other aspects of aging, like feeling your testes for lumps when you bathe ~ a little thing that feels like a pea can turn into testicular cancer and KILL YOU in less than 6 months , a horrible way to go .

I don't know about you lls but me, I'm askeert to go see the Doctor even though he generally gives me a clean bill of health .

Dragging my feet about the Dentist now in fact .

I keep telling her the backup is dangerous!

Seriously, I have always believed in exercising the plumbing as often as possible.

Thanks Nate!

Are you a candidate for the sitting in a bath and them using ultrasound to break up that larger kidney stone? I know nothing about the procedure other than it seems pretty common today.

I have on occasion wondered if with modern medicine if we are just exceeding our natural designed lifespans by nature. I have had a few situations that would have finished me off otherwise starting at age 58. With Bladder cancer.

I even asked our family doctor why the specialists he sends me to seem to like me. He told me simply because you are a success story consistently. When proceedures are needed. It shows in all the records.

Tom did not mention it but if the urine cannot get out of the bladder. It will get your undivided attention in my experience. In my case a scab from a surgical procedure broke loose a month later and blocked the system up. It almost reached the point of self inflicted dancing lessons before I got back to the hospital for a catheter.

Then the fun began. You have to get the paperwork finished at the emergency department first. The nice nurse said you probably have kidney stones. I just responded okay I have kidney stones but just please get a catheter in. She called the surgeon as I had mentioned I had an operation a month ago after her last remark as well. .

He told them to install the one they use in the operating room. It allows then to blow up the end so it cannot self retract. It has a water in tube and outflow tube as well. So they can monitor any internal bleeding. The technician said I cannot install this in a human being. I just told him that you have only about five minutes more before the involuntary movements are continuous. Then you will have to put me out to do it. Or excuse the vocabulary. You can kind of screw it in I believe. He did.

The old jingle of what a relief that is. Did not do it justice. Of course one MIR showed one kidney stone in the kidneys some years back. I am pretty positive if I ever pass it. I will know about it as well. Almost guaranteed unfortunatly.

As we age it is probably not the best ideal to enter into a pissing contest. Even drawing in the snow may not work quite as well as it once did. I think perhaps I could perhaps have formed an arc landing five feet or so away at one time. Who really measured it all those years ago? I am not reduced to hitting my shoes yet. Although just before the dorsal split procedure I had to sit on a toilet to urinate as the stream direction was basically uncontrollable. Yet somehow in general I still seems to remain in pretty good shape overall for my age of 76.

As strange as that may sound. It must appear so to others as well. When I had my hair cut yesterday while doing some shopping errands for the wife. There is a large storm coming. The barber did not ask for payment in advance.

Yes, I drink a lot of water, coffee & tea but I always have and didn't use to have to go twice or more every night .

Onset of type two diabetes? Easy to get checked for. All too common as people age. I am not a doctor. Higher frequency of urination is but one complication.

Although at one time the neighboring lady at the cottage was frequently asking me about her chest problems. Always wanting to help people with no self interest involved. I really did mention. Look I am not a doctor but I will have a look if you want me too. She did not take up my kind offer of help for some reason.

Today got out the infernal catheter.

Woooo Hooooo!

I feel free as a child. I get to sleep in my bed tonight instead of the recliner.

The prostate shrinkage is still working and getting better. Today I slept 7 hours without getting up. I haven't done this well in twenty years.

Good recommendation for the method so far. Where did they enter the body to get those blood vessels in the prostate area? Rectal perhaps?

As you further improve remember as you may have forgotten. Do not piss into the wind.

They went in just inside my right hip bone....into the femoral artery I believe. I think he glued it shut...no stitches, the entry wound was maybe 1/4"d.

Has anyone had the TURP procedure? A friend had it done-just wonder why one procedure is recommended over another. Maybe it's just another name for a common procedure.

my doctor in 2009 told me about saw plametto, I take it faithfully, otherwise I too can't pee good. Wal Mart has a cheaper brand of super beta prostate,I buy it when rich, makes you pee, like in her 20s.

The TURP has a much higher rate of recipients being impotent and or incontinent.
