In which one of those did I attack Obama in a personal manner?

I believe the examples, which are just a random sampling, neither need qualification or explanation to address the issue that mean spiritedness is not an exclusive element of the left.

It is remarkable how much a good political cartoonist can fit into one frame. In Oliphant's cartoon, we have Palin clearing a low bar with great self-satisfaction and a phony-baloney Joe Sixpack cheering her on. I think it is well done.
Many of the Repo faithful appear to really believe that God is in their corner, at all times, and that any criticism of their anointed is virtual sacrilege.

Look at the non-stop haranguing about Bush Derangement Syndrome coupled with an equal degree of ignoring what a disaster the guy is/was.

Hello Botnst:

Jimmy Carter was a governor and for longer than Palin, four years.

Bush was a governor for 6 years.

If Palin is so damned capable, why is her campaign afraid to let her go on Meet the Press? What, she can't face the evil Brokaw but she'll be fit to face down Putin whenever he "rears his head?"

The woman is a walking talking points generator.

She's clever. Reminds me of the words of the Buddha (fictional) in Hesse's Siddartha: "You are clever young Samana. Be careful of too much cleverness."

Unfortunately for us, usually the people who would be good at the job don't want to do the job.

In other words I didn't personally attack Obama or anyone else in any of those posts.

Wrong again. My point in the post you originally responded to is still correct; the personal attacks come 99% of the time from the left. Deny it all you like but you know it's true and you know it shows you have no real issues to discuss.

Thanks for comparing Palin to Bush & Carter. You get extra points for the extra info. I was surprised to see all of that as my question was very simple. I had actually asked you to compare her with Obama.

Perhaps I'll quote a fictional character to prove some other point.

Yes but the standard you put up, the standard for excellence is badly flawed. And besides, Palin's experience in both her posts is rife with cronyism. And now, she's ignoring a lawful subpoena. Like Mark Shields pointed out on the Leher NewsHour, this is unprecedented: a candidate on a presidential ticket ignoring a lawful subpoena regarding their current post.

Obama has a much better familiarity with the big leagues than does Palin. His oft-maligned experience as a community organizer matters because, as many who have worked with him have attested, he has a good ability to get people at opposite poles to actually find common ground.

Palin speaks in the political equivalent of psycho-babble. But hey, she's a MILF. Oh why not: VP, here you can have it, sweet cakes.

Whhhhhaaat?

I simply asked for an objective comparison between the experiences of Palin and Obama and there you go, off into the wild blue yonder.

You've implied many times that her light executive experience qualifies her in ways that Obama's experience never could.

And as MS Fowler pointed out, Truman sorta came out of relative nowhere and he made a mark. The only executive experience I can find that he had was:

In 1922, with the help of the Kansas City Democratic machine led by boss Tom Pendergast, Truman was elected as a judge of the County Court of the eastern district of Jackson County[9]—an administrative, not judicial, position similar to county commissioners elsewhere.

That's something but it ain't governor.

Go reread what I wrote. It's a very simple declarative. I understand, really I do, that you don't think it is sufficient.

I'm just wondering if you can stick with a simple declarative about Mr Obama without resorting to denigrating Palin in order to demonstrate his many virtues.
