Thats what I'm doing! I'm done with cars until I can afford nice ones, that don't need me to fix them up... I'm so sick of wrenching...

Get a W126! Thats where its all at. The W123 isn't as nice....I had to drive one for weeks....its dead reliable, but so is the W126, and the W126 is way more comfy and roomy.

Then there's the W124.....it makes a W123 look like a museum piece.

Yeah buy my car. I already spent tons of money, prep the body a bit yourself and get a middle of the road paint job, throw on a set of junkyard Euro's and you'll have a real looker.

You guys are reminding me of my early 20's. I swore off working on my own cars cause I was sick of it and I was making a decent living so I started buying new cars.

It took over ten years to work that out of my system and I ended up upgrading most of my cars on my own anyway.

Looking back, I wish I'd found out about these cars earlier instead of sinking so much cash into Acuras. I could have an enviable fleet of pristine MBs for what I spent on those ricers.

Yeah thats probably what will happen to me, but I can't see myself without an old MB for to long. I curse wrenching now, but who knows how long that will last.

I have also never owned a newer vehical, just once I would like to try that.

Find a few "friends" that have some torque under the hood...then some non-moonlit evening (around 0200-0300) have them pull up to fat-bottom's place, pour out a gallon of bleach on the pavement in front and do a few "bleach-burn-outs" and leave the scene...

It'll stink up his front yard and the marks on the street will be better than pouring a bag-full of fertilizer on his front yard spelling out "@554ole" in super-big letters...that will grow faster than anything else for at least a year...

Or...you could do that too!!!

I could always borrow a friend and his ferrari and just sit in front of the guys house and detail it.

I think the prick is jealous. Not because of the piece of crap delorean but because of the other nice cars I've had over or brought home.
