the trick is to find a woman to give you a woody, not sell you one, then after its all spruced up you could loan it back to her every once in a while, just in case she was missing the way the shifter felt in her hand.........

I'm getting closer on finding a new bike, I was looking at a LeMonds that I liked a lot, but Trek dropped them, so I wonder if I should stay away

I built my own from scratch, as all I needed was something to go to the bars around the beach. when I was a kid, the bike I wanted most but Santa could never afford was a Schwinn "Grey Ghost" of course a 20" bike was fine when I was 12, but I am a few years larger than that now. So I took a 26" beach cruiser with springer forks and put a thick drag slick rear and a 20" front tire, some tall apehanger handle bars and vintage cranks, sprockets 5 speed shifter

Man, I bet there is a market for that bike, you should make a few more of them and put them up on ebay for starters...

Roof over my head, belly full of food. Real nice neighbor that invites me by a couple of times a week. Heres the unbeliveable part, both of my drivers are running strong at the same time.

I bought a high mileage sec from cdpalyer. It had the mods I wanted with my favorite color combo (champagne/palomino). I have always liked that style of BBS rims and would have lowered it anyway. Had a valve job done and except for a stick cold start valve she runs great after the first minute in the morning. All of the swithch gear works and it has 50k on a factory trans. The 45 profile tires are a little to much, may go to 55's. But with 5k on the tires it will be a while. Hopefully the Merchevedes that we had chatted about will come back on the market. Since it has already been modified it would be fun to bag it and gangster it.
