I found out today that the 2nd biggest idiot who works here is going to get fired. I told them to get rid of him months ago.....He thought he could get away with doing jack squat because the OLD owner is his buddy. However when you miss two days of work without calling in and the NEW owner finds out about it......

Ahhhhhh finally, one less source of stress in my life

Let's see: #1 son is actually making money selling real estate (not great, but keeping a roof over his head and in top 20% at his company). #1 daughter just passed her state nursing boards so she is a full RN (with the improved pay). #2 son will graduate HS soon with 85 college credit hours and has several scholarships lined up including full ride to U. of Louisville's Speed School (engineering). Still married after 31 years (no idea why she puts up with me). I still have a job for now. Also have a spring and summer for of work to do on the MBs and the camper. I go on 4 day unpaid furlough at 3pm today and I'm gonna vacation in Tn! Not too bad all round.
BTW, Congrats Eng., good to here things are working out for you after what you've been through. She sounds like a keeper. Now make sure she gets a sweet ride to tool around in. (got mine an R107)

2008 was a tough year for my family and I. We've recently relocated to a new city and have started a new life there. Our two sons are now loving their new home (they're 4 and 2) and my wife is settling into her new job. It was a massive upheaval, but we're looking forward to enjoying our new home and summer near the lake! In the midst of this recession and the gloom, we're healthy and prosperous - and that is a LOT to be thankful for!

I read the other day in the paper about these two male students at Purdue standing in the Mall and giving people compliments. They have a big sign that says "The compliment guys". They have been doing it at certain times certain days for a couple of months now.

On wednesday I was over near the Bell Tower (I am Project manager for a bell tower repair) and saw them. I called out to them, "hey, nice sign, I saw you in the paper yesterday".

I figure they must be hoping to meet girls. Their compliments to girls seemed more eloquent!

Fun!

I still don't see it. Do you stare at it or through it to see these other images?
