R. I. P. Billy. Can't say I'll be missing his "screaming in your face" commercials though.

Even though I didn't like any of his work or products, at least his work was honest work.

Now if twelve AIG execs were tragically killed in a limo when a 40 foot trailer of manure fell on it, I'd throw a party....

"Everyone that knows him was aware of his larger-than-life personality, generosity and warmth," Hillman's statement said. "Billy was a pioneer in his field and helped many people fulfill their dreams. He will be greatly missed as a loyal and compassionate friend."

Couldn't say it better myself, he was a terrific inspirational role model for others in his field of endeavor.....he will indeed be sorely missed.....

Bad week for celebrities. I read he was on a plane Sat. that blew its front tires on landing. Maybe the stress of it knocked loose a blood clot to the brain or something.

No comparison to Billy.

BTW, if you hate the higher volume of commercials, blame the marketing weenies, they insist on that. If Billy didn't do it, they'd just turn up the volume.

I read just last week that the FCC is changing the rules. Previously, the volume level of an advertisement could be no louder than the loudest part of the show in which it is embedded. Now they are about to limit the advertising volume to the average volume of the show.

Since the loudest part of a show usually does not come right before a commercial comes on, the commercial blares at you.
