I'm a sophomore at the University of Washington, still a premajor but going to declare a major in Economics or Accounting next quarter, both fields that I have an interest in.

Hi Jay: We do the best we can with the opportunites available to us and appreciate them. A piece of paper doesn't make anyone smarter or better than the rest. I've never been to the US but you've been all over. It speaks volumes of your world.

Real Estate sales.... bad recession ...sucked

Fishing charter 1st mate My personal favorite I fished all day and had a real live coppertone girl for a girlfriend. What a life it was Fish, Drink, you can guess the 3rd

Sunglass Hut manager met ton's of hot chick's

Electrician...... sucked

I am a Senior Electrical Engineer for a company which makes equipment for coal fired power plants. I've been involved with industrial controls systems for the last 16 years.

Industrial control systems have changed quite a bit over the last 16 years from relay logic, PLC logic, and now computer controlled systems.

In my college days industrial controls was not a topic, we learned about transisitors and op-amps (I'm not old enough to have covered vacuum tubes). My transition from college to the working world has proven to be quite interesting, I learned ladder logic in less then 4 hours.

The changing technology makes my job interesting as well gives me the oppurtionity to travel world wide.

Yes really, but legit......

I am responsible for distribution, transportation and import/export for a Pharmaceutical Company. All in all a pretty full plate. Fringe benefits:

- Distribution Center is in Maryland - Crabs
- Plant to DC truck driver will pick me up cigarettes in Delaware on his return trip so I can avoid steep NJ "smoke" taxes.

My transition from college to the working world went more like "if you can't get this working soon then I will have to find someone who can". Needless to say I managed to solve the problem within the next 20 minutes.

BTW - Physics was my favorite subject, Chemistry was my next favorite.
