Not a rocket scientist

Just a rocket engineer. I started out in electrical hardware and morphed into software. My past is too similar to Larry Bibles, one of my first toys was a DEC PDP8, an old, discrete 12 bit computer with lots of lights (I miss them) and lots of switches (I don’t miss them) then a custom variation of that except it was 18 bit, and core memory. I ended up doing rockets mostly cause of the people here not my knowledge of rockets. As systems go they are pretty simple, but I don’t get a beta site.

BTW, west coasters, look towards Vandenburg at 6:00pm Saturday night. There’s a scheduled launch of a Minuteman that has a target payload for intercept for an NMD test. I work on boost control for the kill vehicle, and the testing. We have parts in the back for that rocket you see coming out of a hole. If it doesn’t go right at 6:00, there’s a 20 minute turnaround for the count, that is there’s a chance for launch every 20 minutes starting at six.

All you have to do is find somebody, and there's a pretty good idea about where he is. But I'll have to warn you, there's already a pretty long line.

That cigar is the secret ingredient A little bit of ash helps bind the sauce And of course, if you're short on bay leaf, a little tobacco leaf will do the trick!

I climb lattice towers and such to have a look at what other people created up there. After I have seen enough (or too much ), I get back in my car and drive around from GSM-site to GSM-site...I am a construction supervisor in/for wireless communication...

Here are some pics from "me" at work and my Benz at rest:

Wow! What a profile!

MBenz: Owner and builder of two heavily modified Mercedes-Benz cars, climbs cell towers that most of us wouldn't dare look up, and bungee jumps as a hobby!

Probably looks like a blond James Bond as well...
