My father died this Saturday, January 2nd, 2010; he had a stroke in December. It's a staggering loss for myself and my family.

I'm very sorry to hear of your loss. My condolences. I lost my dad in 1987 and though it has gotten easier over time, i still miss him and have dreams about him sometimes.

My sympathy as well. I lost my dad five years ago on the 22nd of this month. I miss him nearly daily. If you and your dad had a good relationship that is something to treasure.
