I live in a small suburb and the police station is about the same size as a university campus. I normally see 5-6 police cars parked at the side of the road trying to trap speeders on my drive to work, but I can count on one hand how many times I've seen a police car patrol my neighborhood in the 3 years that I've lived here.

IE: Do you why I stopped you? No sir I do not when I saw your lights come on I looked at my speedo and KNOW that i was not speeding. Almost all police have dash cams and mics on the officers so that can be evidence if you want to push the issue. I drove a truck for 1.75 million miles and only ever got 2 speeding tickets. Both well deserved I might add ![]()

Only one way to find out I guess. The trick between speeding ticket revenue ad typical property tax revenue is the ability to predict the amount of money left over at the end of tax season. Just sprinkle the extra speeding ticket revenue on top and if a lot of money needs to be injected into a school just go back to the property tax rate.
