Yes, a real one, not a model. It needs a battery, better tires and a door.
There are bargains around here if you know where to look.
I remember when the Thing was introduced in the US. IIRC, the price was about $2,700 and it was available in just three colors, which I think were orange, white and yellow. It had lower gearing than the Beetle, and coupled with a pretty daunting aero signature, was good for about 70 mph. It was a pretty cool vehicle at the time.

Theres a track day at Laguna Seca this coming weekend...


I wonder if any Corvettes are going to be running....

You izuh lucky dude to have the auto culture everywhere around you out there--I want to visit the old truck museum on Woodland. last time i was out there i drove my first MB up hwy1 to bug Sur and turned inland at carmel vally-and saved carmel /monterrey -and all Nor Cal for the next trip.
