I didn't know how to break it to you, but you may have already figured this out I see. You don't need to travel very far to make a lot of money.

A lifelong, childhood friend of mine controlled (literally) one segment of a cash business in the rackets, in Omaha and eastern Nebraska for over a decade. He self-described himself as a very big fish in the small sea of Omaha, NE. He was the king and go-to-guy in his field of expertise. If you wanted a piece of the business in Omaha, you had to either go through him - or starve. He was so shaky felonwise, that he had to sign on a front man 'partner' to run the business. He would only hire ex-cons to work for him, after all, it was a cash business, and how could he involve reputable employees? Or so he reasoned. Besides, who was going to believe that their boss Larry, worked them over before firing them for stealing? They were ex-cons. Of all the people I've grown up with, Larry was by far the most monied in the income department. I doubt I'll ever meet anybody that has ever been able to launder/earn more tax-free money in my life. Another guy that had known him as long as I had once said; "if God needed a loan, he'd come see Larry."

It's quite possible that you will earn a lot more money in Wichita, than you ever will anywhere else. One's circle of expertise needs not be any more than local/regional, to become very rich. As I am fond of saying; opportunity is all around us, wherever we are.

Interesting friends you got, Joe. Now, why in the world would you ever want to earn tax-free money?

That's fact. They seem to cover the waterfront. Hanging with Larry was the only time I was shot at by Omaha Police, or anyone as a teenager.

Some legitimate businesses aren't, taxwise, when they are understood.

Well, let's thank the Good Lord. The 1941 Super 8 Club Coupe made it into the 21st century without bullet holes.

The 1970 1/2 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 didn't fare so well.

Nice car Tyler bought. My Dad called the car a businessman's coupe in it's day.

That's a very good question.

A friend of mine who has a slew of classics, insists on using avation fuel, even in his Model A Ford. He got very tired of dealing with ethanol fuel issues, and low compression motors(think less than 6:1) really don't like to start after a few months using E10 blend. Of course, it's a leaded fuel, so it's no good for cars with cats, but it's all good for the Buick Tyler has.

A business coupe usually did not have a back seat, with that area used by salesmen to carry inventory, etc.

Paul, didn't they have an extended trunk as well?

No, the car's body was not extended, but did or was open to the passenger compartment. They were campers in effect. Snow skis, etc. could be hauled.

Nice looking car. The overcast day pictures make for good pictures.

Do you plan to clean it up, (engine compartment, etc.) or sell as-is?
