Ahh man it was horrible, I drank 8 and that was as far as I got.

I think I'll stick to rum and vodka on the roads or with a diet soda, more satisfying. I enjoy a good beer once in awhile but I'm really not a beer drinker anymore.

Years ago in some magazine I read there was this playful answer to a question posed to the A-B brewmeister:

What's the difference between Budweiser and Coors? We don't have bears pissing in our water.

The theme caught on:

There is a large Beer Pub in Philly with a "Beer Bible" on each table. The Beer Bible has the owner's comments on each of the brews they offer.

I believe it is the entry for Pilsner Urquil that says," This is the beer that Augie Busch sought to emulate when he emigrated to America. He failed miserably."

It's fun to introduce folks to "real" Budweiser, too:

Hard to get drunk on beer these days since my tolerance is pretty good, maybe I'll shotgun half a dozen.
I'd bet it would be hella fun to get drunk and then get your AK 47 or your Remmie and blast away over and over at a Chinese gong you'd hung by stringing it up between a couple of trees. <------ @ that.

Although trying to drive a tank would be even more fun, well not for everything around you.

I know a lot of foreigners at my school that buy Budweiser and are disappointed after the first sip

It's a head-scratcher; the stuff is wildly popular overseas (presumably for the American "mystique" thing).

When I've been to Germany, England, etc... with the military, there are guys who will go out of their way to order the crap (and, yes, locals drinking it at the bars). At our dorm-type billeting in Germany, we buy good German and Belgian stuff by the case and keep the fridge stocked; honor system calls for 1 Euro per beer (and this is GOOD beer), and there are still guys who will go out and buy a case of Bud to keep in there. One guy brought a Milwaukee's Best 30-pack with him for the trip. Beats me, man.

On a return flight from Germany, I asked what brands of beer were available. The German attendant said we have Bud. I said Wha? She said it was good beer and she liked it. I had a neat scotch instead.

Its the perfect beer for camping, and after a long hard day of work the first one goes down quite smooth.

I prefer Yuengling Lager. A coupla dollars more a case, but a much better beer. And it's made in a family owned brewery not far from where I'm sitting.
