Of course it was an attack. You know what? Who cares. Have a nice day.

I hope that moderators follow on this whole saga and take some action. I guy like this doesn't have a place in a forum like Peachparts.
Here we get infractions for calling someone a name...after reading some of his posting on the other forum this beg a question, What he need to do here so the moderators wake up? He managed to get himself banned there so how on earth he is surviving here??????
You guys are talking about Kirk Vining, right?

Wink *** "Oh! Bite my ....!!!! (Ooops! Was that too loud?) ***

The current set of mods are working out just fine...but, I do believe I've step on, if not over, the line and as Gomer Pyle would have said, "Surprise! Surprise!" ... I didn't get "gigged" or slapped with an infraction. And yet, I do miss having Hatty and BC (Yep, that's right... ) around and running the ship.

I will admit, I did go to the WM and have a 3-4 Email go-around before BC put me out to pasture for 5 months...but then, politics makes pricks out of flowers and I sure wanted to stick it to BC.

But, when the ban was lifted, BC was a different sort of mod...or I learned a lesson that appeared to make BC look a bit more tolerant. Either way, things SEEMED to be flowing along until the "Xmas Mod-Massacre of '10" happened. One was removed, another "fell by the wayside" and an un-moderated few weeks went by where posters felt like the mine-field was open to allow "tip-toeing-through-the-tulips."

Then the selection of our current set...well thought out (my opinion) and the three seem to compliment each other very well. One seems to be Centrist, the other two...a little left and right of the first...able to argue for/against and make rational decisions.

I still have my "Don Quixote" topics/moments (weather-driven I suspect), but due to the "time-out" that was imposed on me, I'm hoping that I watch my finger-tips a lot closer before I mash the key too hard.

Fingers and toes will always heal, but words, thrown without regard to where they land, will ALWAYS come back to injure again and again. Written, spoken and recorded.

Bet the next election on it.

Checks can be sent to M. G. Burg. Send a PM for the address.

I believe in forgiveness, eternal forgiveness, over and over and over. That doesn't mean that one doesn't have the right to dole out a few ***** slaps while the subject is going through one in a series of rough spots in their development.

Joe, I think, got really wrapped up in a fantasy of how he was going to show up at his 30 year high school reunion and blow the pants off of everybody with how successful and happy he was - way, WAY more successful and happy than all those pukes who used to hassle him in school.

And after awhile that's the only game he had going on.

Nah! He's one of them. SJR is one of those. THOSE are the ones everyone is suppose to be against.

I see you exaggerated as well with "warnings" when it was only a SINGLE warning for a direct insult. Amazing that you hold such grudges and come to these conclusions over 1 warning
My suggestion for you is to get a life, seriously. If you think the moderation is unfair you can find another site. We are volunteers, and the 3 of us do our best and try to bounce big decisions off each other. The fact that you feel so oppressed, wronged, and made these decisions over this small warning makes it very hard for me to take you seriously.

I also don't think you recall Joe and I having a feud for a few years, one exchange resulted in a warning from BC when I stepped over the line. Yes we buried the hatchet, but to think us being on friendly terms equates him to pulling my/other moderators strings is laughable. I agreed with Tom's decision for Joe's vacation.

Why do you care so much anyway? There's some great soap operas that my mother likes to watch to get her drama fix.

I also might remind you of this in our Cardinal rules.

13. Subversion or disruption of the normal flow and/or display of the Shop Forum is forbidden. This includes, but is not limited to, wholesale deletion of prior posts and posting a new thread for the express purpose of criticism of a moderator's decision.

Early on I took stuff like this much more to heart, and spent alot of time defending posts and trying to explain my reasoning to people who felt wronged. I spent entirely too much time with it, to the point that I believed it actually contributed to pushing away someone I cared deeply about. I've concluded that some people never feel they can be wrong in an action and will vilify any authority excreted against them no matter how benign. Most take the warnings/infractions to heart, some outright ignore them, some enjoy dancing around the rules, and others react in this way.
Man that was a long reply.
Well ....................... Never mind

LOL we have been booting undesirables to Benzworld off topic for years.

I'm just amazed SRJ could get banned off that site, that's an accomplishment!

A tribute to his talent and more indication of just how hostile people are to successful leaders in business who come from his home town.

You got gigged for calling the people who attack Joe "pathetic". I'm sure you crossing the line and getting infracted gave them alot of satisfaction.

More drama in this thread than an all girls HS cafeteria. Go out and enjoy the nice weather, I can't believe people spend so much time with board politics and hold grudges via the internet
