I know the history of progressism very well. Much less about conservatives. I have very little interest or involvement in politics. I am drawn to different means to encourage the changes I seek.

I wouldn't know. I never said such.

The word has a fairly straight-forward meaning. Women are not minorities. Cuban-Americans are but they are not called that because they do not vote democratic.

Your thoughts and language skills are sloppy.

I've already stated that I am well versed in the history of progressism. Your fallacious thinking and crude redefinition of words is consistent with much of their history.

Once again, I forgot that you're the smartest person in the room. I will try not to let that happen again.

So why all the clamor now? The 2 unneccessary wars and the prescription drug act were done years ago. None of those were funded by revenue at the time and are still not. What new big expensive programs have happened since Obama took office?

help out the "crude redefiners" and tell us what this word means, o great master of the english language. thanks. (perhaps you need to pray for better spelling skills, and not seek to remove the speck from your neighbors eye, before you work on the log in your own?)

Along with the Bush tax cuts/ hike there is the need for business to have reason to expect consistency in future regulation. Yet, as soon as the President signed the debt ceiling into law he, and all the dems are talking again, about letting the tax cuts expire. You think businesses are going to risk venture capital with that level of uncertainty hanging over them?
Business would like a 3 or 4 year moratorium on tax and fee increases, and a long lead time on changes after that.
Stability is the name of the game for business growth.
10yrs. of the bush era tax cuts wasn't a moratorium?

10yrs of tax cuts, where are the job the republicans promised?
The republicans wouldn't lie would they?

November 2010 mcconnel was so giddy I thought I saw his lips move when he said "Our number one priority is to make President Obama a one term president"

Heck, silly me though job creation would be number one.

You boys sure have the excuses.

Yep, losing 700k jobs per mounth under bush is a heck of a lot better than creating jobs under President Obama.

Did you ever hear of 9-11?
Do you think, maybe, it might haved had some impact on the economy?
Do you realize that was one of the principle reasons for the attacks on 9-11?

This makes no sense.

I'll ask you again, 10yrs. of tax cuts is not a moratorium for business?
If business is so uncertain after all these years of cuts and not producing jobs it only makes sense to end the cuts and restore certainty, after all, thats what their excuse is, right

Just which dark body orifice did you pull THAT out of...

unemployment under Obama is 9.2% and GROWING. He hasn't created crap....anywhere in the country OUTSIDE of government jobs.

If Obama created all these damn jobs...then why have 13.2 MILLION people that had jobs under Bush....no longer have jobs under Obama. where in the hell ARE all these imaginary jobs Obama created anyway.......CHINA? Because they certainly aren't in the USA.
