If you are ambushed..how will you get this proposed unit out of your back-pack?

it would be more for a scout unit not a lone man, maybe it wouldnt help if a guy jumps on your back and tackles you, but likely your unit will have more than one guy with a UAV of this portability

Some of the caucasion thing in my speach may be due to my current location on this earth.
Asians do not refer to white ppl as 'white', they refer to us as 'western..or caucasion'.

You are aware that the largest portion of the Muslim population are not from the M.E.-but from Asia/S.E. Asia?
Good!

I know little of Islam besides the one paragraph summation that one picks up from the world around them.

I do know there are large (and you tell me the largest) populations in Asia. The problems in the ME dominates much of the world's perspective.

Why'd you move to Thailand? I love the food. I use holy basil, galanga, kaffir lime leaves, etc quite a bit in my cooking.

PS - In terms of my uncertainties in the world were I live even asking balanced questions can get one in trouble so it's a challenge.

this will be mixed in to a lot of religous discussion but maybe it will get some on track answers.

I would think this drone as a video platform would have been impossible just a few years ago, but with fast memory and processors the image could be stabilized pretty easily.

the purpose for this is for recon. think about carrying a couple of these in a back pack, you get ambushed and dont know your enemies strength and position. you boomerang this baby into the air and get instant recon data. pretty awesome.
I'd a thought it would go somewhere, settle down, maybe make a recording, etc & then maybe return.

Video would be tough but high speed computing is amazing.

I'd be happy to keep this things on topic but in this case you can blame kerry.

I would think real time would be the purpose. Im thinking this craft is an artifact of a competition the military had a while back for micro UAV's. the algorythm wouldnt be too bad, I would think you could do a pixel comparison with a shift of the image and still get fairly good frame rate. it would of course be a very wide angle, if you want to look at a certain image then frame rate would be the same as the spin rate

actually as I read this it would be even simpler, just snapshot at the spin rate and do a simpler shift comparison. they could point it by just moving the snapshot point in the software

I live in Singapore. Why did I move to this part of the world?

For the dark haired, physically small, doe-eyed,docile, willing woman of course.

My second choice would be Thailand though. Have travelled to ****et-BangKok-Chaing Mai-Chaing Rai.

For a Westener, there is something fascineateing about being greeted by the Thai people with their hands held palms together, and hearing the words.."Sa Di Kai".

The food is excellant as well. Altho, Traditional Asian food, prepared in the home country tastes nothing like that which is served in the States. As it is modified to suit Western taste buds.

Diogenes can rest; we have found an honest man.
