MTU, lets have a look at another angle.

When did Islam trademark terrorism.?.as you will have us believe.

According to FBI database there have been 318 terrorist activity's in the US from 1980-2005. That includes 209 bombings and 43 arsons. Out of those incidents 42% were committed by Latino groups, 24% by Extreme Left Wing groups, 7% by Jewish Extremist groups, 6% by Muslim Extremists, and 5% by Communists.

1. Not a single US citizen has been killed by Muslim Extremists since September 11,2011.
2. Only 3 out of 83 acts of terrorism between 9/11 and 2011 were done by MuslimExtremeists. Most were done by Animal Rights groups and Evironmental Activists.
3. There was more terrorism world-wide in the 1970's than in the 21st Centurie. During those years there were over 60 Terrorist incidents per year on US soil, most of them being bombings. Thats 15-20 times more terrorism than post 9/11.

Europols report titled 'EU Terrorism situation and Trend report' showed that 0.4% acts of terrorist acts from 2006-2011 were commited by Muslim Extremists. That means that 99.6% of terrorist acts in Europe were by Non-Muslims, most of which were Separatists/Leftists.

U.S. Terrorist Organisations

If you were asked to name five major terrorist organisations in the U.S. how many could you name besides al-Qaeda? Let me list some to help you balance the distorted view that the media feeds you with.

Animal Liberation Front; Its known for sabataging animal testing facilitys, etc. The FBI said explicitly that the ALF is the leading most domestic terrorist threat.

Alpha66 and Omega7; Cuban exiles opposed to anyone who takes a moderate approach to Castro.

Army of God; Anti abortion and anti-gay. Known for bombing at least 2 abortion clinics, a lesbian nightclub and the Summer Olympics in 1996. They believe that Anglo-Saxons are the only true children of God.

Aryan Nations; A White Nationalist, Neo-Nazi, and Christian Identity group. The Rand corporation described it as the "First truly Nationwide Terrorist network".

Black Liberation Army; They carried out a series of bombings, bank robberies, and prison breaks.

The Covenant, The Sword, and The Arm of the Lord; Another Christian Identity group.

Earth Liberation Front; Eco-Terrorist group; The FBI in 2011 said it is the number 1 Domestic Terrorist group .

Jewish Defense League; Founded by Rabbi Meir Kahane, they executed at least 15 terrorist attacks in the US { more than al-Qaeda} and are responsible for at least 10 bombings.

Ku Klux Klan; A White Supremacist, anti-Communist, anti-Semantic, and anti-Catholic group.

Militia Movement; An anti- Government movement. One common tactic is to explode pipe bombs at Government facilitys. They have 20,000-60,000 members in the US.

Phineas Priesthood; Another Christian Identity movement that is against interracial intercourse, homosexuality, abortion, and multi-culturalism.

Image is Everything.

The only statistics that are missing is the amount of media coverage per terrorist incident or group. It shouldnt surprise anyone now that Muslims usually recieve the most coverage despite the fact that they are near the bottom of the list when it comes to Terrorist activity.
Now that the facts are clear, do you think anyone would dare to rephrase the statement and end with "Amost all terrorists are Latinos, Leftists, evironmentalists, Christians, Sikhs or Jews"? I doubt it. This twisted logic is only applied for Muslims, not anyone else.

So the next time you hear of a 'Terrorist', think of the facts behind the perceptions, not the images infiltrateing your mind. If Muslim Extremists attempted to copyright the term 'Terrorist', they would be denied. The famous statement goes "Image is everything". Indeed, everything but the truth.

So MTU, feel free to carry on, and push the envelope you are pushing.

I don't believe a majority of Muslims actively support the violence. I do believe that in many Muslims societies that there are what they feel are the norms- like flogging women for extramarital sex. The beating with a whip of women for this offense, and in public- shows that some part of the majority does not disagree vocally or non vocally. I think that part is a large part- otherwise there would be a strong movement to move away from those punishments. We largely do not see that (moving away)- we see instead the hard line taken. In the world you'll be able to divide many people into the 5% on either end, the 15% next to them on either end, and the 60% spread out in the middle. Those 60% are closer to the hardliners than the objectors- otherwise there would be a great push to stop these laws which call for floggings of women and there would be a great push for stopping the extreme views of radical Muslims. The majority pushes and the radicals impose. There is tactic condoning of the flogging laws and tactic condoning of those that break into shops and smash false idols. There is tactic condoning of making sure no one defiles Allah- with what ever means needed. This is the stuff the world sees when a cartoon of Allah is printed and the violence and threats of violence erupt. It's not just the radicals- it's those that silently condone and embolden the ones further on the edge viewpoint. Your group #3 is duped and condones groups #1 and #2- and groups #1 and #2 feel that and are pushed further because of that implicit support.
Do you live in a Muslim dominated country? Or do you rely on the media to supply you with your information about how the majority of citizens feel about things like public beatings? Are you able to speak to your Muslim neighbors about how they view the acts of the hard liners?
You do realize that many of the places where this occurs are solidly third world, and those who speak out today are gone tomorrow? Real strong motivation to keep ones mouth shut.

Do you invent percentages often? Did Yogi Berra help you with those figures?

I believe you mean - Tacit

Tacit | Define Tacit at Dictionary.com

unless you have something more sinister in mind, what with their tactic(al) approval??

I would tend to believe that group 1 and 2 derive their power from control over group 3 rather than from some silent mandate.

I've lived for over a decade in one of the world's four "nesia's"- can you name all four? If you can what does that say of you? Nothing really except you can google. Your judgement of a person or the validity of that persons arguments based on the ability to google is quite shallow.

Can you clearly and convincingly show why you believe my numbers/arguments are flawed? Can you refute my arguments point by point? If you can I will believe your arguments. If you cannot but instead choose to side step it will indicate your views are weak and false. History is on my side. Humans have chosen many reasons in the last four thousand years which to base why they should as a society "defend" what they believe and how they should defend what they believe in- and that defending usually involves violence. It's a historical truth- and that is the case now. It's not rocket science nor is it a mystery.

Nice strawman...

How about if you make an attempt to show and support your position rather than require that others disprove it?

I say that someone here is actually a cross-dressing catholic priest who is trying to stir up anti Muslim sentiment on the web, and now, unless someone can adequately disprove it, my theory must be correct.

So how did you establish that they aren't giving tacit support and are truly fearing for their lives?

You give indirect tacit support each time you fill your cars gas tank. Have you thought of walking from now on.?

"tend to believe" is not an attempt to establish anything as fact.

My belief is an extrapolation of how the few Muslims I know in this country feel. Furthermore, I understand and acknowledge the possibility of that position shooting wide of the mark. Would be nice if others could do the same.

This group includes Irish terrorists, Christian snake handlers, KKK members, looney bin God-hates-fags protesters, radical Islamists, Buddhist monks who set themselves on fire, etc. 2) DOGMATICS. Those who set the tenets of faith. The priests, mullahs, preachers etc. and last and largest 3) DUPES and TOOLS. I do not believe group 3 are necessarily responsible for the actions of group 1. What bugs me more than anything is failure to have the courage of one's convictions. For example, it seems to me that you are convinced that while not all Muslims are terrorists, all Muslims are complicit in the actions of terrorists. I'd be a lot less likely to make fun of a thread like this if you'd have the courage of your convictions and just SAY it, rather than looking for ways to allude to it.
On the other hand, I might make fun of it anyhow, just because.
Couldn't have said it any better if I tried. We actually agree, if you can believe that.
