Robert...do the right thing and call the cops in on this matter. It won't stop if you don't make it stop.

She has until tomorrow to bring back the missing parts. I suspect that my $1500 vacuum pump is in a scrap yard somewhere. The police WILL be called tomorrow. I am also making her leave. She cussed me out and said that I will never see her or our Grand kids again. For everyone else here, JP and I have been talking about this situation for some time. My daughter has been stealing the wife and I blind. The folder pump was in a storage room and that's why I didn't notice it missing until today. I have a folding job to do that I will have to do by hand.

Can you use some Appalachian Engineering and rig a shop-vac to it?

I can't believe you said that jp. That's exactly what I thought, we have a small shop vac, and I put it in the truck about an hour ago to take to the shop tomorrow. I guess great minds think alike.

LOL That type of engineering is in my blood. I've witnessed my dad do some VERY unorthodox things to cars in the past, just to keep them on the road, to include hard wiring a switch to operate the electric fan on an old Ford Escort. I'm sure that if you need a smaller hose, that Lowes or another box store, would have the reducers needed...just make sure to add duct tape to really complete the job.

If she hasn't already stolen my digital camera, I will try to take a short video of what I have rigged up. It aught to a hoot to see if it will work. A laugh in a a time of grief.

IT'S ALIVE.... ba ha ha ha ha ha. the shop vac worked. No quite powerful enough, but it will run the lighter stocks through. It will work until I can replace it with the correct pump.
