I certainly do not recall all that much attention given to HC during the campaign. It was a plank in the platform, but many things end up as planks only to be forgotten after the votes are counted.

Its a form of debate, you throw an extremism out their, very popular on the internet.

OTOH I'm not a fan of low key conflicts, I'm more of a total war Sherman Doctrine adherent, so in that case nuke away. Or you can view war as an extension of politics, in which case nuking would defeat the purpose. Still I think Sherman made some better points than Clausewitz did, but it depends on where you come down on such matters.

I guess it would stand to reason that if the people who killed the people are bad then the people who killed the people who killed the people would be good since killing bad people would be a good thing unless of course there is some gray are of if the people who killed the people are truly bad then we might have some issues. Just saying.
