Probably true, so what? If it's racist for repos to be predominantly whitish is it not equally racist form the Demos to be predominantly non-whitish?

The question, which cannot be answered, is who is uses fearful dog whistle references to a greater degree? Some would say Rs excell in that dept. But since we've adopted the 'everyone does it the same amount' mode of reporting, we're unlikely to see any public discussion that matters.

Demos do it as demonstrated in the last few posts -- by calling attention to the whitishness of the opposition.

When argument devolves to questions of pigmentation, all of the swine are in the same wallow.

As much as I tire of the media bias threads you start I can't debate that they aren't important issues to discuss. I'm glad people pick up on this. I personally waver from side to side depending on topic.

I only start the media bias threads as a sort of balance. I would be as opposed if all the major media spouted the repub line. Since we depend on the media for the basic information we use to form opinions, media bias is important, especially when it is a subtle as MSMNC showed.

I see Bot's posting about the poor state of Louisiana's political parties as confirmation that one party rule--by any one party--is not a good thing. Maryland is the mirror image--democrat controlled and we suffer for it. Our one major remaining paper, the Baltimore Sun, is a shadow of its former self and now is little more than a media outlet for the democrat party.
