Embassy ground is the ground of the nation in the embassy. Remember Iran 1979 ?

ANY invasion of embassy grounds is an invasion of the home nation and should be responded to as such.

Alternate scenario: Imagine the embassy is the Egyptian embassy in Washington D.C. and the same event occurs. Ok for Egypt to send in the forces?
