If there's any ballot stuffing fraud, that's where you'll find it.

Yes, Jim it is INDEED troubling. Since they are mostly blue states anyway, maybe it won't have a large effect on the outcome.

That's part of the reason I voted L this time around - not just for Johnson, but for every slot that had an L candidate listed, down to the local level. My thoughts exactly.

I won't get a chance to vote until lunch time but I'll be voting FOR the Johnson-Gray ticket nationally. I, too, will be voting with my conscience this time around. Unapologetically. The thought of "Four More Years" with Obama or the "Next Four Years" with Romney is a frightening prospect either way. I hope to see a prominent third party come into play in my lifetime, a "Perot"+ every election.

On the state level it will be mostly R just with the hopes that they somehow gain enough seats to slow down the D's unfettered control, taxing and deficit spending, but the chances of that happening are slim and none. I will be voting D for one of my buddies, who despite being a lawyer, is an honest guy and one of the few business friendly D's currently in the state Senate.

I went down to Lafayette City hall this morning at 6 am to vote. When I got there there were about a dozen people ahead of me. As I waited it soon became apparent there were significant problems with the new voter id requirements. People ahead of me found that they were not in the computer or were listed under the wrong address. In addition the people running the check-in did not seem to know how to run the system. What normally would have taken ten minutes in years past took over a half hour. As we left there were at least fifty people in line.

Just how many cases of voter fraud have ever been reported in Tippecanoe county in the last ten years?

This is a letter to the editor of the local paper that I sent this morning after my voting experience. I seriously doubt there has been any voter fraud here.

I'm pleased that you went and voted Tom!

I want to remind you that the election personnel, for all practical purposes, are volunteers. There are always hickups in getting things rolling early in the morning. We even had those hiccups when a trained dog could have come in with an envelope he dug out of the dumpster for an ID.

Regardless of the level of ID required, there are going to be problems as you describe. Many people move between election cycles, get married changing their name and on and on.

I wish those volunteers and you for that matter, all the best.

Gov.) when she assumed the position after Rowland's resignation, won re-election and then decided she had enough. Now we're at the mercy of one party control.

I've been living in the same house for 16 years. There's another person registered at my address. Every election, the ID checker crosses my name off right below the mystery person. I can't have them removed because they're not me. I do wonder if they've ever voted in the past 16 years? At least their name has never been crossed off when I've gone to vote!

That's what I just did. I was going to vote Libertarian across the entire ballot but in the end voted Johnson for prez - not that it will make any difference in AZ, and R for senate because I'm not keen on having one party control of the government. Most of the rest where there was a choice I voted Libertarian, oh and I didn't vote for Sheriff Joe either.

No obvious problems at the polling station I go to. Everything seems to run pretty smoothly there. The electronic scanning machine worked well. Identified a mistake I'd made on one of the judges (I voted both yes and no). Poll worker said that vote wouldn't count but the rest would and would I like another ballot. I said hell no, not worth it. I was done in about 30 minutes.

Here as well, though in the middle of New Mexico it shouldn't really surprise anyone.

I moved (2 miles across town) between registering and voting. I sent in the proper form to the NM Department of Motor Vehicles (which updates your voter registration) after moving, but my local polling place hadn't received the update.

I explained the situation and they asked me to simply update them with my new address.

Makes me wonder what the point of updating the Secretary of State is, when the update doesn't propagate to where it needs to be. It also makes me wonder about how secure this setup is.

Romney has zero chance (if it was possible, he'd have a less than zero chance) in CT. I'm hoping to be part of the 5% that gets Johnson federal funding for '16. Gotta start somewhere.
