Fine but try to grumble about something that is unique. It makes the grumble so much more interesting.

Judging by the number of replies it got from you, it must have been plenty interesting.

I'm in a "hurry up and wait" mode since I am doing something with the asia region so I need a little time filler and this was it. Hardly interesting content but a good time waster.

You're using the "she was asking for it" argument? Have I got that right?

And what is your argument? That Wal*Mart should not take the same things that other companies have been offered? Are you even listening to yourself or are you trying to do the old "Railroad Job".

Are we pretending that Wal-mart lobbyists don't bribe public officials for those tax breaks?

There are so many retail dollars in any givin area. Those dollars find goods, subsidizing Wal-Mart is just Fkin stupid, unless you are pocketing the bribe money, then it is criminal.

Are you pretending that Ray-O-Vac, Hilton, Holiday Inn, GM, Harley Davidson, etc, etc didn't use their lobby power to push for some benefits? If not, what you are describing is par for the course.

Maybe that will curb us of asking our officials to do this, that or the other? Nah! Never happen. Govt is needed as a referee and NOT as a player or as a bookie running bets on the side.

I think it's high time to get employers out of the health care game and let our society provide care for every citizen.

Oh yeah... and bomb the WalMarts.

Excellent way to breed dependents. Besides that, it is refreshing to see someone who has such faith in govt providing things when they have screwed up time and time again. Worse, got into dishonest practices. Isn't that the definition of insanity? Do the same thing over and over and expect different results?

So you DO agree with OBL's tactics? And in that same light, agree that when someone has a disagreement with you, that is the solution? Or perhaps you will be like most people and do the "Animal Farm" thing where you aren't held to the same rules? Guess that makes 2 things we never got an answer about from you, doesn't it?

1. Whether you would agree with the idea that you should be subject to the same treatments
2. Whether the deer can be hung by the TAIL or not.

Just look at other societies which provide healthcare for their citizens... we are on the wrong track. Business should not be saddled with the burden of providing healthcare. Soon, everyone will be WalMart, and there will be no full time jobs with healthcare benefits.

OBL??? You mean the "Bomb WalMart!!" campaign?? Wrong track again.... Subtlety and humor are not your strong suits... are they? (actually... bomb walmart isn't very subtle is it?)

Same treatments... help me out here... not sure what your on about... I have been fairly busy, so PeachParts is not the foremost thing in my mind. If I negelected to answer something it's due to absence, not avoidance.

Can a deer be hung by the tail.... Why yes, Virginia, a deer can be hung by the tail... Not sure how long it would stay up there before the tail just kinda came off... I generally hook through the tendons near the knee.... but it can be done.... just not by anyone I have ever met... of course, I believe we run in different crowds...

My understanding is that Walmart employees can BUY full health insurance coverage from the company, BUT the cost of this - which is normally about 70% of their take home pay! will be deducted from their paycheck.

Taking that option means they will have to make do with "Caviar Helper" I suppose.

No, you've got that wrong.

The 'she was asking for it' excuse for rape is no excuse. Rape is illegal.

We the people offer a legal mechanism that saves Walmart money. Walmart is obeying the law. So your gripe should be with the law, not with Walmart.
