OBL??? You mean the "Bomb WalMart!!" campaign?? Wrong track again.... Subtlety and humor are not your strong suits... are they? (actually... bomb walmart isn't very subtle is it?)

Same treatments... help me out here... not sure what your on about... I have been fairly busy, so PeachParts is not the foremost thing in my mind. If I negelected to answer something it's due to absence, not avoidance.

Can a deer be hung by the tail.... Why yes, Virginia, a deer can be hung by the tail... Not sure how long it would stay up there before the tail just kinda came off... I generally hook through the tendons near the knee.... but it can be done.... just not by anyone I have ever met... of course, I believe we run in different crowds...
Not interested in seeing what other societies do since we are not other societies. This is like saying "Since my neighbor Jack drinks, I can drink too.". Well Jack might not be an alcoholic and I might be. I don't know what you know of those other places but have you looked at any of them besides a cursory glance? Have you seen their work ethic vs our entitlement mentality? Not to mention that our govt cannot seem to balance their checkbook even when they do NOT use GAAP? All this does is feed the mentality that "We are owed a living by the world".

Why not blame or bomb the rest of the population since they are the ones that ordered Wal*Mart to do sell what it sells. Also, bomb the workers. They are lousy and DON'T deserve to get any more than they do. Less in fact, if I was asked. A business is there to earn money and not be your social force for the betterment of mankind. For that, you need a different organization. I expect my business to make money and not be a social force. I, OTOH, can be a social force by making my own donations to needy causes, volunteer, etc, etc.

Advocating bombing you if someone disagrees with you.

Oh, when you asked me how many deer I have hung, highlighted my portion of the text, I thought you had indeed done it yourself. Now I see that you don't.

Maybe that will curb us of asking our officials to do this, that or the other? Nah! Never happen. Govt is needed as a referee and NOT as a player or as a bookie running bets on the side.
Duh, yes the sky is blue. Has nothing to do with this.

As long as money trumps the vote the people are slaves.

What is supposed to work for the benefit of tens of millions of people has been perverted. Perversion is acceptable for some but not for most.

Money doesn't vote. If it did, Romney would be president.

Surely you don't believe that money doesn't buy privilege?
Although the ultra-conservative financiers lost the presidential election, the greater political machine remains unchanged. As long as money from lobby groups finds its way into politicians hands, these groups will continue to decide which laws are introduced, and how the laws are policed.

Consider cannabis - for the most part, I think people agree it is pointless trying to police the use/sale of MJ. In fact, I think many rational thinkers believe we should tax the sale of MJ, while cutting back on the enforcement of use, and instead focus our efforts on the regulation of the MJ market. Just think if tomorrow Phillip Morris decided to enter the cannabis market...I am willing to bet that overnight there will be sweeping changes to laws and political rhetoric regarding the greater benefits of cannabis. That’s the power of a lobby with a lot of cash.

Then it shouldn't be brought up as though it is NOT par for the course if it is common practice.

Yes it does. That is life too.

Supposed? As in who told you that any business is supposed to be for the benefit of the masses? I set up a company for MY benefit not yours.

You don't know history.

You seem to approve of slavery and bribing public officials. This would be pathological.

That's what Ross Perot thought too. OTOH, I've not heard of any paupers getting elected recently.

I don't worship history as though it is the only way things can be. That is, unless you can duplicate the entire scenario. Put the same seed into the same algorithm and you can be pretty sure the answer is going to be the same. Now, can you guarantee that the seed and algorithm are going to be exactly the same? I think not. History is at best a hint of what might happen.

That is another issue altogether. If you want to stop bribing of officials, stop it across the board and not just for your pet projects.

If you take a look at how the campaigns fundraised, it turns out that the Obama campaign got the money and the votes.

I didn't ask him what he thought. Did you?

When you are a pauper, you have other concerns besides politics. Trivial stuff like what is for dinner.
