Up to ten percent of the developed countries citizens have some form of mental disorder in their liftimes. Beating a child to death for religious failings sound like at least a religious fanatic at best.

Really sick in combination with that may mean she feels no remorse at all is a possibility. She will never avoid the stigma for her deed where it is known.

IMO this (and any like it regardless of excuse) case should be treated exactly as a rabid animal.

There is no excuse.
Religion, politics, etc need to be excluded..

This rabid animal beat a CHILD to death.
If the child can be returned to life = let her live in prison.
Since the child is dead = put down the rabid animal, and incinerate the carcass.
Dump the ashes in the nearest ditch.

Never give a rabid animal sympathy or a second chance...

Well, if it actually WAS a rabid animal, it would deserve more sympathy than that woman. Rabies is a horrible disease, and the animal didn't choose to acquire it!

I agree a true rabid animal is terribly sad.

A rabid animal is beyond help.
I have been forced to put down several.
The disease is horrible, and if you hesitate to kill = you may personally experience the disease or cure.

I don't know anyone having gone through the rabies treatment/cure who will hesitate to KILL a rabid animal.

IMO: The VILE concept of killing a CHILD because of (excuse) Religion, politics, etc deserves instant termination, cremation, and unmarked/unlamented waste disposal.


Theoretically: I can comprehend justified killing a child who is actively trying and/or killing other children/people.
