Look, I think you're intelligent as well but CT is not the rest of the country. Texas is the exact opposite of CT. Bad people have access to weapons. These people exist in CT, TX ad everyplace else. There are roughly 9,000 murders every year. All I am suggesting is that there are ways to limit the access and make the country a little safer with out any infringement of peoples rights.
I really do not see the problem with this.

Doesn't it look like we have at least two completely opposite beliefs' opinions that are irreconcilable? Is it because the side opposite your (or my) own is stupid, ignorant or evil?
In a brief review of the posts I think rational people would agree that despite some emotionally charged opinions, all sides in this subject are reasonable, intelligent people who disagree. Sometimes reasonable people disagree -- this is a precept of democracy. How do we accommodate each other? This is the strength (and weakness) of democracy. We cannot afford to think there is only one right answer else we return to 1861. |

We should also blame the security leaders of CT Elementary School for the ignorance of school security. We need security systems in schools.
